University Spirit Run raises nearly $10,000 for scholarships
Hagerstown, Md, -- The University System of Maryland at Hagerstown (USMH) hosted the second annual University Spirit Run virtually due to the ongoing pandemic.
128 participants from across the country ran and walked to raise scholarship funds for students in programs at USMH. The participants, along with generous sponsors and donors, helped raise nearly $10,000 for scholarships.
Frostburg State University won the University Spirit Award for the second year in a row. This award is given to the university with the most participants. University of Maryland College Park came in second and Salisbury University came in third. Team Healthy Meritus had the largest team with 13 members.
