USMH Masking Policy and Testing Requirements - Spring 2022
USMH's current masking and testing protocols will remain in effect through the end of May, when we will reevaluate the situation. Until further notice, masks will continue to be required in the building, and weekly rapid antigen tests will be required for those with a health or religious exemption from our vaccine requirement.
We have decided to return to hosting traditional spring events, such as the Graduation Celebration, which will be held outdoors on May 24. Also, we are permitting outside organizations that are renting the Hospitality Center for face-to-face events to make their own decisions regarding masking.
We understand community members hold varying perspectives and preferences regarding masking and testing requirements. As we gather in person and welcome guests to our campus more frequently this spring, continuing with these protocols is an important strategy for promoting a healthy and safe environment for all. Decisions regarding masking for Summer term and for next Fall semester will be announced at a later time.
