USMH Set to Celebrate Graduates - May 16th

The University System of Maryland at Hagerstown (USMH) will proudly celebrate the achievements of the Class of 2026 during its annual commencement celebration on Saturday, May 16, 2026 in the USMH Hospitality Center, 59 West Washington St. Hagerstown, MD.

The ceremony will recognize the accomplishments of students who have earned degrees from USMH partner universities, marking an important milestone in their academic and professional journeys. Family, friends, faculty, and staff will gather to honor graduates whose hard work and dedication have led them to this moment.

Graduates represent a wide range of programs offered at USMH, demonstrating the strength and accessibility of higher education opportunities in the region. Through USMH’s unique model, students are able to earn the same respected degrees from Maryland’s public universities while staying close to home.

“The USMH Graduation Celebration is always one of the most meaningful days of the year for our campus,” said Michelle Walls, Communications Coordinator. “We are incredibly proud of our graduates and the perseverance they have shown in reaching this achievement. We look forward to celebrating their success and the bright futures ahead of them.”

The celebration will feature Welcoming Remarks from a USMH representative, who will share words of encouragement and inspiration with the graduating class. In addition, a student speaker, 2026 FSU Education Graduate, Miss Haley Himes, will reflect on the shared experiences and accomplishments of her fellow graduates.

For those unable to attend in person, the ceremony will be livestreamed, allowing friends and family near and far to take part in the celebration. FB USMH Graduation Live Stream
